My First

Amaya is 18 months old. She is trying to say everything we say, trying to do ehat we do. She likes attention. If we are talking and not paying attention to her, she comes and looks in our faces until we see her. Or she repeats what ever we are saying until we notice her.

The other day President Obama was on TV and she pointed at him and said Obama not clearly so we did not understand at first. But she said it again when they showed a close-up. And we realized what she was saying. I said Obama and she smiled and pointed.

Attention

Amaya goes to day care every day. Her teacher told her mother Amaya goes to sleep about an hour before the other children are put to sleep. Then when the other children go to sleep she wakes up and she plays with the teacher all by herself. She started doing this about 4 or 5 months after she started going.

Starting Over Again

Now I have a grandchild who is now 17 months. Her name is Amaya. I will write about her here. She is the sunshine of our home. Just an overview. She is smart and sweet. She is huggable and luvable. The house is not the same. We have someone who is overjoyed to see us and make our hearts glad.
